Welcome Petey!

Meet our newest little love, Petey! This sweet 9-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua mix has just joined the Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue family. Petey is full of life — playful, affectionate, and absolutely adores children. He’s also house-trained and ready to bring joy to any home lucky enough to have him. ✨

Petey’s journey to us is a bittersweet one. His owner recently went into a nursing home and, sadly, no family members were able to take him in. But we promised his person that Petey would be safe and cherished — and we intend to keep that promise.

Now it’s our turn to give Petey the best care possible, and that includes a full vet check-up and anything else he needs to stay healthy and happy while we search for the right forever or foster home.
